           English Grammar

I have included two distinct areas of need for the ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher. Grammar Sequence is a suggested order in which to present grammar to students who are learning English as their second language. This order would be quite different for native speakers. Parts of Speech gives a definition and examples. Subject - Verb Agreement is always difficult for ESL students. Examples of typical sentence errors are given as well as tips to give to your students to avoid these pitfalls.

The understanding of English grammar will help students to improve their speaking, listening, reading and writing. There are many English grammar rules and students will learn them as they improve from beginner to advanced.

The students can get a good understanding by viewing some of the pages below.
