ADVERBS (What Type of Adverb?)
Adverbs are used to add meaning to verbs, adjectives or other adverbs.
There are a number of different types of adverbs:-
e.g. I am listening now. (Adverb of time)
The ring was found under the rug. (Adverb of place)
The triathlete finished strongly. (Adverb of manner)
He reacted rather calmly. (Adverb of degree)

Choose whether the underlined adverb is either an adverb

Like adjectives adverbs can be used in three different ways which are
called degrees of comparison. Adverbs of one syllable add “er” and “est” to form the comparative and superlative forms.
